    I was quite anxious as my plane touched down in Richmond after a short flight from New York.  I had just finished an intense interview schedule with First Boston, one of the leading investment banking firms on Wall Street.     An Embarrassing Moment – A.I. and Scams 8.5.26

    I almost did not write this because I did something that in hindsight seems rather stupid – and quite frankly, embarrassing. I am probably one of the few people who continues to use Direct TV.  I almost cancelled it a while back because my sons were telling me that I could get a subscription for U-Tube TV or another on-line service for half of the price.  Two of my sons have changed over to U-Tube T.V. and are very happy with it.     A Life Well Lived – Dr. T.C. Dickerson, III (1936 – 2026)

    My wonderful father-in-law T.C. passed away last night. He was 89 years old.  The truth be told, I never expected my father-in-law to live to 89.  He did not exercise regularly.  He was not fond of vegetables. And early on, he was a smoker. When I started dating his daughter Elizabeth while in high school, I can remember that one of the things I loved about visiting the Dickerson’s home was the aroma of sweet tobacco coming from T.C.’s pipe.  I was kind of sad when he gave up his pipe.
